 The shawl was going so well. I started about two months ago, knitting a row here, a couple rows there...just a little project I did while infront of the computer. Before I knew it, the shawl was 17" long! I thought, 'what a perfect weekend project to take along to my mom's' ...I could chat and knit because it was only the same four row repeats.Well, the pattern was left at home. I remembered the repeats, but decided to look online to be SURE. When I looked online, it was NOT what I had been doing! I get home, and the pattern was exactly as written on the website. What had I been doing up to this point?!?! And so...since I was not sure of my pattern anymore, I have come to the sad conclusion that I must frog and start over. Eeeks!! mrpibbs [

I've been knitting for about six months. As I was knitting Christmas scarves, I only had the yarn for the scarf I was working on. (I didn't want my supplies to take over like my scrapbooking supplies did!) Out of nowhere...well, I believe it was when I discovered there was not one, but TWO local yarn shops!!...my yarn stash grew and GREW! I know it is not as bad as it could be, but it surprised even me. My plans: Noro Silk Garden - Lady Eleanor shawl from "Scarf Style" Luxury Alpaca Peru - Interlocking Balloons from "Scarf Style" Luxury Alpaca Cashmere - ??? Sorbetto pink - little pink purse for my little girl Mission Falls 1824 - Backyard Leaves from "Scarf Style" Patons Divine and Glitterspun - shawl Moda Dea Wild - thin, long scarf Moda Dea Dream - scarf Bernat Disco - I would LOVE to make a teddy bear rug :) Bernat Illusions - ??? leftover ball Bernat Bling Bling "Spotlight Sage" - scarf or shawl Bernat Bling Bling "Moulin Rouge" & "Twinkle Toes" - little purse Marble - poncho for my little girl Phenom - scarf or hat Red Heart treasure - ??? I love sewing, but I usually set it aside when it comes time to do hems. I hate hemming.Well, bows are worse. I never did attatch the bows last time I made this dress. But I did for this dress last night!! Her Easter dress is done!!  I used Simplicity pattern #4721. (Lizzie McGuire).

 I've finally settled on a project from "Scarf Style"...Midwest Moonlight. I started last night and am about two and a half repeats in. Only twenty-two and half more to go! :)
